Gongsheng also said the following about BTC in his statements at that time:
“The Bitcoin bubble is just the latest incarnation of wild speculation. Historically, wild speculations, such as the ‘tulip mania’ of 1637 and the Internet bubble of 2000, have hit financial markets from time to time. No one can predict the speculative wave. He doesn’t know how long it will take or where the summit is.”
However, it should not be forgotten that many important figures who had negative opinions about Bitcoin in the past are now pro-BTC. In other words, the statements they made in the early period of BTC do not make much sense for many people today.
