Founded by Turkish entrepreneurs in Switzerland, the company named Sortie Cargo designs private jet UAVs for cargo transportation. They currently have a small prototype, although they need investment and orders to bring this work to life.
It is stated that these jet cargo UAVs, which will be developed to meet the needs, can reach a speed of 1000 km / h and can carry loads up to 150 kg 2 thousand 500 km away. In addition, this UAV uses biofuel, a renewable energy source, obtained from recently lived organisms or their metabolic outputs, unlike the oil or nuclear fuels used by its competitors.
When we look at their technological features, these jets, which can reach a speed of 1000 km / h, fly to their destination in a completely autonomous way after taking off. It can also deliver cargo weighing up to 150 kg, which can be loaded anywhere within 2,500 km.
To give a rough example of this situation, it can deliver an important cargo for military, commercial or civilian use from Istanbul to Ankara in just 15 minutes. It is also possible to use a much smaller version depending on the demand and the weight of the load.
