Cardano’s (ADA) Stablecoin Djed Release Date Announced!

Developed in collaboration with the COTI network, according to the latest update from the developer team. of Cardano The algorithmic stablecoin Djed will be launched shortly after the Vasil hard fork goes live on the ADA mainnet.

Cardano’s Djed Stablecoin Estimated To Arrive By The End Of July

In a recent COTI blog post, the Djed team wrote:

“We are also waiting for Cardano’s Vasil hard fork to happen. The Vasil hard fork will enable the scalability necessary to run Djed securely on the Mainnet.”

As it is known, the Vasil testnet hard fork proposal was presented to the community.

These hard fork changes can be seen on the testnet on July 3rd. Exchanges and SPOs (stake pool operators) need a testing period of at least four weeks, placing the estimated date of the Vasil mainnet hard fork in the last week of July.

According to the Djed team, the completion of Vasil’s Hard Fork and the conclusion of the final audit may herald the start of Djed’s mainnet deployment.

Cardano’s over-collateralized stablecoin Djed was recently launched on the testnet. Recent reports from the team show that more than 514,559 tDJED and more than 6,688,918 tSHEN reserve coins have been minted so far, achieving a reserve ratio of 653%.

According to the statements, to ensure the safety of the coin, it received a second level audit certificate after it was released on the testnet. The developers reported that they have now received the notes submitted under the audit and a new version of the code is prepared for the final audit.
