Cardano (ADA) Introduces Its New Project To Accelerate The Growth Of Its Ecosystem

of Cardano Project Catalyst, owned by Input-Output, the company behind it, collaborated with African business incubator iceaddis to launch the Ariob project.

Within the scope of strategic cooperation, it is aimed to accelerate the growth of projects on Project Catalyst, Cardano’s innovation area, by providing the necessary training and resources to startup companies, producing products for the problems in Africa.

The Ariob incubator, which will be open to all African-focused projects, currently includes 9 African-based initiatives.

Cardano Continues to Focus on Africa

In late February, John O’Connor, director of operations for Africa at IOHK, shared the news about the first set of loans to Kenyan SMEs, highlighting the potential of Cardano’s RealFi.

ISLAND In his statement, founder Charles Hoskinson also said that the company plans to launch a peer-to-peer (P2P) lending project in Africa this year, starting with Kenya. Hoskinson believes that with such projects, the gap between industrialized and developing countries will be closed.

Last year, IOH collaborated with the Ethiopian Ministry of Education to enable 5 million Ethiopian students to verify their academic identities using Atala PRISM technology built on ADA. ADA also aims to work with World Mobile in Zanzibar to enable access to essential online services in the country through Blockchain technology.

In the shared blog post, IOHK, the company of ADA, stated that Cardano will achieve its RealFi goals thanks to these partnerships. The term RealFi defines IOHK’s focus on accessing finance for people in need.
