Berlin The German construction industry warns of massive problems on large construction sites. In view of the excessive bureaucracy, heavy machines would soon no longer be able to reach construction sites. The reason for this is the time-consuming and complicated approval process for the transports, as the Main Association of the German Construction Industry wrote in a letter to Federal Transport Minister Volker Wissing (FDP). The letter is available to the Handelsblatt.

At the construction machinery fair in Munich at the end of October, the minister got an idea of ​​what equipment the companies were using, the letter said. “However, getting these machines to on-site construction sites is becoming an extreme problem.”
