Borsa İstanbul BIST 100 Index Starts New Week With A Record!

Borsa İstanbul, which has been on an upward trend for about 2 months, BIST 100 index started the last week of July from the top. The index, which was calm on Friday after the interest rate decision, gained 1.38% on the first working day of the week.

Currently, there is no specific resistance point for the stock market, which is at the level of 6.777. However, 6.630 and 6.315 levels formed by intermediate sales can act as support. If the BIST 100 index does not close below these figures, it is among the possibilities that it will continue to rally.

While most companies start the new week on a positive note, some stocks have already reached the ceiling price. Energy companies Astor (ASTOR), Zedur (ZEDUR), CW (CWENE) and Ulusoy Elektrik (ULUSE) have gained 10% since the beginning of the day.

The XELKT index, which measures the average of electricity companies, stands out with an increase of 6.19%. The banking index XBANK, on ​​the other hand, fell behind BIST 100 with a return of 0.65%.

Markets will follow the interest rate decisions from the FED, European Central Bank and Japan this week.
