London According to a media report, British ex-Prime Minister Boris Johnson is now refraining from making a comeback. Johnson will not take part in his party’s elimination race for the post of prime minister, wrote the political chief of the British newspaper “The Times” on Twitter on Sunday evening. Further details initially remained open.
Johnson resigned as British Prime Minister a few weeks ago after numerous scandals. His successor Liz Truss, on the other hand, had thrown in the towel after just a month and a half after a reign marked by financial market turbulence and political turmoil. The Tories want to clarify in the new week who will succeed Truss.
