Bochum – When Papa paid at the gas station, he heard it crash and clank. His son had crashed through the window in his car and was now standing in the middle of the shop …
“However he did it, the son started the car, which then completely breached the facade,” said a police spokesman. The vehicle came to a stop in the middle of the sales area.
The boy – his exact age was not known to the police at first – was uninjured, as was the father. The cashier had to be treated on an outpatient basis because of a shock.

Shortly after the incident on Monday, it was still unclear whether the boy started the car with the key or whether it started using a radio receiver without a key.
The boy may also have damaged a gas pump, said the spokesman. The property damage is significant.
