Proving this as data, BKM announced all card usage details in our country with its March 2024 report. The total number of cards increased by 15 percent compared to last year, reaching 354.4 million. to 406.7 million reached. While 192 million of this number were debit cards, credit cards were in our wallets with 121.4 million and prepaid cards were in our wallets with 93.3 million. Compared to the same period last year, there was a 17 percent increase in the number of credit cards, a 10 percent increase in the number of debit cards and a 23 percent increase in the number of prepaid cards.
