Bitcoin Bitwise, one of the companies whose Spot ETF application was approved, announced that it has made an important development for its ETF product Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB).

Today, BITB became the first US bitcoin ETF to publish the Bitcoin addresses of its holdings. According to the company’s own statement, this unprecedented step takes a significant step towards increasing public transparency by allowing anyone to verify BITB’s assets and flows directly on the blockchain.

The company said the following regarding the issue:

“On-chain transparency is the core value of Bitcoin. We are proud to walk this path with BITB. “Publishing on-chain addresses is the first step towards increasing public transparency.”

While other companies do not share official ETF wallets, on-chain data is linked to BlackRock cryptocurrency 40,405 BTC worth $1.61 billion were detected in their wallets, 543,594 BTC worth $21.61 billion in Grayscale wallets, and 37,290 BTC worth $1.48 billion in Fidelity wallets.
