Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, lends a helping hand to the earthquake in Morocco. In its statement, the giant stock exchange stated that it will distribute a total of 3 million dollars of BNB tokens to its customers living in the region to heal the wounds of the earthquake disaster on September 8.
Binance will give $100 worth of crypto money to each user it determines to reside in Marrakech and Safi provinces until September 9. Customers who verify later will receive $25 worth of BNB.
Authorities aim to help an average of 70,000 citizens in the altcoin aidrop event they organized for the earthquake zone.
BNB, the altcoin unit of the Binance exchange, is currently selling at $210.
