The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Binanceagain on the first day of the new year Terra Classic (LUNC) performed the burning.
According to this Binance burned approximately 5.57 billion Terra Classic tokens in the 17th batch of the LUNC burn.
According to CoinGape, the 17th Burn party covers the period between November 30 and December 30, 2023. Accordingly, Binance sent and burned 5.57 billion LUNC tokens to the burning address with the transaction made on January 1.
With the latest burn, Binance has burned approximately 40 billion Terra Classic tokens.
Total burned by Binance to date LUNC approximately exceeded 49.17 billion, while the total LUNC burned by the community exceeded 92.5 billion.
Last December, Binance announced that it burned 3.90 billion Terra Classic tokens.
Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) and USTC prices are rising amid the broad market rally and the Binance LUNC burn mechanism. At this point, the LUNC price has increased by up to 8% in the last 24 hours. It currently continues to trade at $0.000145.
