Billionaires and Whales Are Buying and Selling MATIC and These 7 Coins!

As reported by various blockchain analysts and platforms, the cryptocurrency market has seen significant movements involving key figures and whales. Incredible activity was observed in MATIC, STORJ, AAVE, MKR, METIS and BAKE coins. Here are the new maneuvers of whales…

MATIC transfer from Mark Cuban to Coinbase

On-chain data platform Spot On Chain noticed that a wallet linked to American billionaire Mark Cuban received 2.82 million MATIC tokens worth $2.56 million from the Polygon PoS Staking address. He then deposited these unstaking MATIC tokens to crypto exchange Coinbase the same day. On May 24, 2021, Mark Cuban received 2.5 million MATIC tokens from Polygon Ecosystem Growth. Stake them to earn more MATIC.

He only has 16 MATIC tokens in his wallet, along with other cryptocurrencies such as WETH, ETH, ILV, and BNB. There is now only $3.34k worth of crypto in the wallet. After the SEC lawsuits, Cuban’s assets decreased significantly. He objected to the SEC’s stance on claiming some cryptocurrencies as unregistered securities. Recently, he joined forces with Elon Musk to file a joint amicus brief in the US Supreme Court case US SEC v. Jarkesy. They are challenging the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) method of conducting in-house trials without a jury.

Whale movements: STORJ, AAVE, MKR

Spot On Chain monitoring revealed significant activity from three whale addresses suspected to belong to the same organization. These addresses deposited a total of 30.78 million STORJ tokens to Binance, equivalent to approximately $25.3 million. This accounted for 7.24% of the total STORJ supply. Specifically, whales purchased 10 million STORJ tokens between September and October at an average price of $0.44. Although they increased their holdings by 20.8 million STORJ tokens ($1.04 per coin) on December 17, their total investment resulted in a loss of $745,000.

Additionally, a whale has withdrawn large amounts of MKR and AAVE tokens from Binance on multiple occasions. On December 26, 2551 MKR (approximately $3.59 million) and 27,154 AAVE (approximately $2.79 million) were withdrawn, following a significant withdrawal the previous day.

METIS, BAKE and ETH transactions attracted attention

Meanwhile, monitoring by @ai_9684xtpa revealed that 11 addresses transferred a total of 25,734 METIS coins (approximately $1.98 million) from Coinbase. During this period, the METIS price increased from $58 to $80. These addresses currently hold 301,000 METIS tokens, accounting for 6.6% of the total tokens in circulation.

These 2 Altcoins Made Their Investors Rich!

Scopescan tracking details a whale withdrawing 9.66 million BAKE (about $6.92 million) from both Binance and BakerySwap in 24 hours. The price of BAKE, in particular, has increased by a staggering 210% since the launch of Bitcoin Cats. Finally, the data reported that Justin Sun recently transferred 6,166 ETH from Binance, worth $13.77 million. According to recent reports, the tokens remain untouched and unsold.
