Bayraktar Akıncı broke the high altitude record once again!

On the one hand, the work on the folding-wing TB3 developed for the amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu continues, on the other hand, progress is made on the Akıncı B and Akıncı C models. Pakistan Air Force confirmed the acquisition of Bayraktar Akıncı and TB2 with a video it shared on its social media accounts.

Bayraktar Akıncı B reached an altitude of 40 thousand feet!

Akıncı models, which were first delivered to our army after successfully completing the tests last year, were powered by two 450 horsepower engines. However, Baykar CTO Selçuk Bayraktar said that versions of this TİHA with more powerful engines would also come.

On March 2, the TİHA, called Akıncı B, using 2 engines producing 750 horsepower, with a total power of 1500 horsepower, made its first flight. In addition, it is said that the development of Akıncı C, which uses 2 engines with 950 horsepower in the next period, which can reach a total of 1900 horsepower, is also continuing.

Of course, it can be predicted what this increase in engine power means on the field. High speed, high altitude and greater payload will be its main advantages. Because we saw the first example of this in the post made by Selçuk Bayraktar today. By reaching an altitude of 40,100 feet, Akıncı B managed to rule out the high altitude record held by Akıncı A.
