Bayraktar Akıncı B, who broke the altitude record, entered the inventory!

Baykar Technology has come to the fore frequently with the successes of Bayraktar TB2 SİHA and Bayraktar Akıncı TİHA. On the one hand, the work of the folding-wing TB3 developed for the amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu continues, on the other hand, the Bayraktar Akıncı B, Akıncı C and MİUS (Kızıllelma) projects continue to be developed. Now, the new vehicles entering the TAF inventory have been shared.

Bayraktar Akıncı B TİHA flew 1300 km and went to its mission!

Bayraktar Akıncı’s first version broke the national altitude record by reaching an altitude of 40 thousand feet in a trial he made last March. Then, Bayraktar Akıncı B prototype, which has more powerful engines, climbed to 45 thousand 118 feet and ruled out its own record.

It should be noted that this level is quite critical. Because many warplanes fly between 40 and 50 thousand feet. So much so that even F-16s can climb to the highest altitude of 50 thousand feet, but they serve at an altitude of 40 thousand feet and below. Therefore, both prototypes of Akıncı TİHA were able to reach these high altitudes.

Bayraktar TB2 survived the S-300 missile!

Bayraktar TB2 survived the S-300 missile!

Speaking to the British press, the Ukrainian UAV pilot explained how Bayraktar TB2 SİHA survived after being hit by the S-300 missile.

Of course, Akıncı B draws attention because it has more powerful engines as well as the altitude it can climb. Because it can carry much more load than the first version. Moreover, he can do this by climbing higher altitudes than his brothers.

This strategically strengthens the hand of the Turkish Armed Forces. Because Akıncı A and Akıncı B will be able to undertake many air-to-ground missions instead of the F-16. In this way, it will extend the life of the F-16s in the inventory until the domestic fighter projects bear fruit or aircraft are procured.
