Battlefield 2042 will be free to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play subscribers starting season 3. However, the release date of season 3 remains unclear. Players estimate it should launch before 2023.
At the same time, the game is on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation exclusively for the first anniversary of its release. December 1-5 will be made available for free.
