Although this event, which was revealed to be slowing down Apple’s devices on a planned basis, seems to have been closed, the company has faced a new lawsuit. Justin Gutmann, who is suing on behalf of users living in the UK, claims that Apple hides problems with the batteries of older iPhones by limiting performance.
As a result of the lawsuit filed on behalf of iPhone users living in the UK, Apple could face a fine of up to £1.6 billion (TL 39 billion). Gutmann claims that the planned slowdown is just to hide some problems, contrary to what Apple says.
