Munich Shortly after the new Suse CEO Dirk-Peter van Leeuwen took office, CFO Andy Myers left the Nuremberg provider of Linux software. Myers, who came to Suse almost three years ago before the IPO, will say goodbye at the end of the month, the company announced on Monday evening.

Investor relations chief Jonathan Atack is now to step in as interim chief financial officer until a new chief financial officer is found. “A permanent successor will be announced in due course,” the statement said. Atack has been with Myers’ team for two years.
Van Leeuwen, who came from competitor Red Hat, replaced Melissa Di Donato at the top of Suse at the beginning of May. Before that, Myers had acted as interim boss for a few weeks. The price of the Suse share has been under pressure since the IPO two years ago. It has since lost more than 50 percent of its value. This makes it difficult for the financial investor EQT, as the majority shareholder, to part with further shares.
