Asus has announced the ROG Phone 7 series, which has been the subject of leaks before. The lineup includes the ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate models, and both feature Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The series offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM at 85533Hz and UFS 4.0 storage up to 512GB.
Like previous generations of ROG phones, the ROG Phone 7 family is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support (two 3,000mAh batteries are used to improve cooling). However, there are some differences between ROG Phone 7 Ultimate and its base version. ROG Phone 7 Ultimate comes with an AeroActive heatsink, which allows air to enter the built-in vapor chamber directly. In addition, ROG Phone 7 Ultimate features an iconic 2-inch ROG Vision display on the back.
Coming to the camera section, Asus ROG Phone 7 series has a 50 Megapixel (Sony IMX766, 1/1.56″, 1.0µm, PDAF) main camera on the back, a 13 Megapixel (f/2.2, 120˚) ultra wide-angle camera and a 5 Megapixel (f/ There is a triple camera setup with a 2.0) macro sensor. On the front, there is a 32 Megapixel selfie camera (f/2.5 (wide), 1/3.2″, 0.7µm).
