With the developing technology now games and mobile apps It would not be wrong to say that its popularity has increased significantly. Now, almost everyone around the world uses different applications in their daily lives and plays games in their spare time. For this reason, the interest and need for professions that will design games and applications are increasing.
When this is the case, moves are coming from our country for people to learn programming. One of them is the one that started last year. It was the Game and App Academy. Now, applications have started for the second year of this project, which was implemented in partnership with Google Turkey, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Presidency Digital Transformation Office, Entrepreneurship Foundation and T3 Entrepreneurship Center and includes more than 450 free trainings.
What is this Game and App Academy?
First of all, let’s explain what the ‘Game and Application Academy’ is. This project, which was implemented with many different partners led by Google Turkey, started for the first time last year. According to the descriptions ‘Game and Application Academy’, Young people aged 18-29 It aims to develop digital skills, increase employment in the technology sector and increase initiatives in the sector.
The Academy offers game and application development trainings prepared by expert trainers. free It aims to reach young people. Some of the opportunities that will be offered to the participants in the second year of the project are as follows;
- English and social skills trainings for software developers
- Full scholarship access to the fully Turkish Google Project Management Certificate Program on Coursera
- Education and career summits in different fields such as law, finance, human resources
- Learning to develop ideas with Ideathon
- Developing your own games or apps
- Prizes for the winners
Application conditions
According to the website of the Game and Application Academy, those who will apply some conditions searching. These conditions are as follows;
- be between the ages of 18-29
- Being a university student or graduate
- Interested in technology entrepreneurship, project management, gaming and software
- Ability to allocate an average of 15 hours per week to the Academy
How to apply?
It is very easy to apply to the Game and Application Academy. Those who meet the application requirements must reach the application page by clicking the link here. After that, click on the ‘Apply Now’ option in the window that opens and complete the 3-step application process.
In the first step pre-application form completion, in the second A 60-second YouTube or YouTube Shorts video is requested.
