Apple TV will broadcast MLS matches for 10 years!

Since the MLS rights taken by Apple TV also include cup games, viewers in Mexico must watch these matches through the organization that bought the broadcast rights in their country. But it is stated that there is no such problem in the rest of the world.

In addition, people who want to watch all the matches that will be featured here will need to subscribe to a new streaming service that will only be available via Apple TV. No announcement has been made on pricing at this time. But TV + users will be able to benefit completely free of charge.

It is stated that Apple will pay at least 250 million dollars each year to MLS in return for this agreement. In other words, an amount of at least 2.5 billion dollars will be paid within the 10-year agreement. Of course, let’s say that additional services such as some games and documentaries are also included in this agreement.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Services, said:

For the first time in the history of sports, fans will have access to everything from a major professional sports league in one place. A dream come true for MLS fans, football fans and anyone who loves the sport. No fragmentation, no disappointment. You just have the flexibility to sign up for a handy service that gives you everything MLS wherever and whenever you want.
