Apple shuts down TSMC production line for M3 MacBook!

Apple is preparing to launch new MacBook models using M3 processors produced with TSMC’s advanced N3E process. These new models will include a large size like the 15-inch MacBook Air and a smaller size like a 12-inch one. The A17 Bionic, which will be used in iPad and iPhone models, can also be included in this process. Here are the details…

MacBook with M3 processor and iPads using A17 Bionic are at the door!

TSMC had changed its production line to N3, which is a 3 nm production process, after intense demand from its customers, who are technology manufacturers. However, later on, it developed this technology in itself and took one step ahead of its competitors and switched to the N3E process.

Apple, which has so far closed almost half of TSMC’s production line with its orders, is trying to undertake the entire supply line of the chip manufacturer for MacBook Air with M3 processor and iPad models with A17 Bionic processor. So much so that according to the latest reports, there will be no production for other companies on the N3E production line until Apple’s orders are finished.

Apple showed sticks to tens of thousands of employees!

Apple showed sticks to tens of thousands of employees!

Apple sought to discourage unionization by informing employees of all its US stores about the risks of unionizing.

Of course, there are some rumors that the A17 Bionic can be produced with the N3 process, unlike the M series. But these chips will be used not only in tablets, but also in iPhone 15 Pro models. Therefore, it seems more likely that Apple will open the mouth of the pouch and close the N3E on its own.

Both production lines undoubtedly produce cutting-edge chips. We see that it exhibits much better results, especially when compared to its competitors. However, when we make a comparison within itself, N3E produces processors with higher performance and higher power consumption efficiency than N3.

Considering all this, we see that Apple will monopolize the N3E production line for a long time and leave its closest competitor to the N3 process. This will cause the scissors to open.
