According to a report, Apple cannot produce millions of smartphones due to global delivery bottlenecks. It can be assumed that the Californian company will have to correct its production target for the new iPhone 13 by ten million downwards, reported the Bloomberg news agency on Tuesday, citing insiders.

Apple has informed its manufacturers that supplier companies such as Broadcom and Texas Instruments have problems delivering chips. Apple shares fell in after-hours trading by around one percent.

Apple, Broadcom and Texas Instruments were initially unavailable for comment.
