Since April 2022, the state administration office in Saxony-Anhalt has been issuing licenses for virtual slot machines. In a few weeks, a new authority will take over the task. The approximately 110 employees of the “Common Gaming Authority of the States” (GGL) in Halle will then control access to a billion dollar market and oversee it.
