Analyst Who Doesn’t Hold $100,000 Estimate Responds to Criticism: “The Model Can Still Work…”

During the autumn month, at the end of the year Bitcoin (BTC) The analyst, nicknamed PlanB, who stated his price forecast at the level of $100,000, received great criticism as the price was too far from this level even though we were on Christmas day.

The analyst, who did not ignore these criticisms, published a series of tweets to tell his own assessment of events and his predictions.

PlanB is primarily a “base model” with its own “base model”.Bitcoin stock-to-flow modelHe managed to distinguish between The analyst admitted that the base model failed in November and December and did not reach the minimum projected prices of $98,000 and $135,000, respectively.

PlanB While he previously stated that he would think the stock-to-flow model would be invalid if he didn’t bring Bitcoin to $100,000 in December, he now seems to take a different view. Explaining his new view, PlanB coined the phrase “S2F (stock-to-flow) model communication”.

So what is PlanB thinking right now?

“If BTC stays in the 1st standard deviation band for the next 2.5 years, the S2F model is still valid and will continue to be really useful to me. Of course, you should do your own research and analysis.”

However, this summer, it was recalled that Plan B claimed that it would void S2F if it did not bring a Bitcoin price of $100,000 in December.

As you can imagine, investors and experts are divided. While many investors struggled to understand the floor model malfunction and whether it marked the end of S2F, Bitcoin on-chain analyst Willy Woo had a different take. Woo claimed that the models existed separately from their creators and that PlanB’s view did not define S2F. Woo stated in his tweet:

“A model is a model. Years from now, we can look back and see if it was invalid. Even if the creator shared these predictions…”

What’s more, PlanB itself has previously stated that models don’t have to be 100% accurate to work.
