A statement from the Solana team shows that this is actually true. Solana Labs co-founder Raj Gokal recently emphasized that the fight between L1 networks need not be too big.
Emphasizing that the main purpose of every person working in the crypto money industry is “to gather the whole world and humanity for Web 3.0”, Gokal explained that they do not want to kill Ethereum:
“Knife out of sheath means we are trying to kill Ethereum. Ethereum cannot be killed, it is impossible. It has already become one of the beautiful forces of the world, supporting millions and creating billions of inner beings. Bitcoin is obviously the same.”
Emphasizing the phrase “We do not want to kill Ethereum”, Gokal stated that their aim is to grow together.
The Solana ecosystem, which recently held a big event in Portugal, is now seen as one of the most active communities. Despite this, it seems quite ambitious and important that Gokal emphasized that they do not want to kill Ethereum and that their aim is only to grow.
