Albatros Kamikaze İDA successfully completed its test firing

Turkey hosted a historical event. For the first time in the world, a swarm concept attack was carried out with the joint UAV-IDA operation. The new protector of the Blue Homeland, Albatros Kamikaze İDA (unmanned marine vehicle), hit the target ship at sea with full accuracy and sank it within the scope of the test firing. The new power of Blue Homeland was developed by ASELSAN engineers with local and national resources. Thus, Albatros Kamikaze İDA will strengthen Turkey’s power at sea. Here are the details…

The first UAV-IDA operation in world history: Bayraktar TB2 marked, Albatros Kamikaze IDA shot!

According to the statement made by the Ministry of National Defense, test firings took place in Mersin for the Albatros Kamikaze IDA developed by ASELSAN. With this successful test, new unmanned marine vehicles will be Turkey’s protectors at sea. Albatross moves at high speed on water, allowing the explosive it contains to hit enemy targets and detonate them.

Within the scope of the test, Albatros, which can move in a swarm of 8, carried out an attack against the target ship. One of the Albatros Kamikaze İDA swarm, which had ammunition belonging to ROKETSAN, hit the target ship and exploded. Thus, as a result of the successful test firing, the unmanned marine vehicle managed to sink the 22-meter target ship within minutes.
