AGHOL sold MERKO stocks off the stock market!

According to the statement made by Merko Gıda to the KAP today, Anadolu Grubu Holding has sold an amount of MERKO shares, which is close to 12 percent of the company’s capital, over the stock market at 5.60 TL per share.

The number of shares subject to sale on June 6 is 10 million 296 thousand 479. With a selling price of 5.60 TL per share, AGHOL has achieved a sales income of 57.66 million TL from this sale.

Merko’s statement to KAP is as follows:
“On 06.06.2023, Merko Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. 10,296,479 off-exchange sales transactions were carried out by us at a price of 5.60 TL. With this transaction, Merko Gıda San. ve Tic A.S. As of 06.06.2023, our shares/voting rights in the capital decreased to 5,775,000 and its ratio decreased to 6.55%.”

Although Merko shares made an upward movement in the opening session with the inadvertent announcement of 6.55 TL per share at the first stage, after the correct selling price of 5.6 TL was announced, with the correction before the opening. MERKO stocks, which closed the previous session at 5.76 TL, are trading at 5.72 TL as of 11.15 am.
