Adding This Altcoin Project To Its Portfolio!

Cryptocurrency platform Bakkt has announced that it will soon allow its customers to transact with Ethereum. Launched in 2018 by the Intercontinental Exchange (the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange), Bakkt is currently only dealing with Bitcoin. But now their services will also include the leading altcoin Ethereum.

Bakkt services will also include leading altcoin ETH

Bakkt, as we’ve also reported on Kriptokoin.com, offers a range of cryptocurrency services, including a Bitcoin futures trading service, a mobile app that allows users to spend their Bitcoins in stores, and a Visa debit card. But Bakkt’s services will soon include the second largest crypto by market cap.

“At Bakkt, providing flexible opportunities for users to enjoy their digital assets is paramount, and with the addition of Ethereum, a popular and growing cryptocurrency comes to our list,” Bakkt CEO Gavin Michael said in a statement. Users will be able to buy and sell Ethereum, send it to people through the app, and spend it in stores with the debit card that was made available in June.

Bakkt’s institutional clients will also be able to use the company’s custodian service to store Ethereum (ETH). Headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, the company did not give a specific date for when users can start trading in Ethereum (ETH).
