Backstreet Boy Nick Carter (42) said goodbye to his little brother on Instagram. Aaron Carter († 34) was found dead in the bathtub of his home in Lancaster, California by his housekeeper on Saturday morning.
his Instagram farewell, he added emotionally: “My heart is broken. I miss my brother more than anyone could ever understand. i love you chizz Now you can finally have the peace you could never find here on earth. God please take care of my little brother.”
Heartbreaking words to his late brother, with whom he was originally dating anything but rosy relationship. But now it comes out: Nick and Aaron had spoken out before his death and approached again, that reports “Hollywood Life”.
“Aaron was on his way to making amends with so many people in his life. He’s reconciled with Nick and made peace with him,” a rep for the late pop star reveals. And further: “Aaron was happy about it because he loved his brother. He looked up to him in so many ways. The two tried to make amends.”
The Carter brothers’ love-hate relationship
Both Nick and Aaron wanted to make it big when they were kids. And while Nick toured the world as part of the famous Backstreet Boys and sang his way into the hearts of the fans, Aaron performed hits like “Crush On You” or “Crazy Little Party Girl” on slightly smaller stages. But he never came out of the shadow of his big brother, to whom he had always looked up so much.

In 2006, the feud escalated to completely different levels. First, Aaron got engaged to Playboy model Kari Ann Peniche (38). The catch: Kari Ann previously dated Nick. Even stranger: Just six days after their engagement, it was broken off again.
In the same year then the next confrontation. And that on TV. In their reality documentary House of Carters, the brothers not only attacked each other verbally, but also physically. Because the music was too loud and the younger brother didn’t want to turn it down, Nick pushed Aaron into a room and locked the door. What happened next remains to be guessed.
In 2014, Aaron wasn’t there when Nick Carter married his great love Lauren Kitt (39) in Santa Barbara, with whom he now has three children (Odin, 6, Saoirse, 3 and Pearl, 1). Worse still, Aaron is said to have threatened the pregnant Lauren with death in 2019. Together with Sister Angel, Nick obtained one restraining order against Aaron.
A slap in the face for the young man, who by then was already struggling with drugs, depression and alcohol. He always rejected the allegations, probably needed help and a shoulder to lean on.
