A User Made 332 Ether Profit Exploiting Opensea Vulnerability

A user who realized that NFTs could be bought at the previous sale price by exploiting a vulnerability in Opensea, the world’s most popular NFT marketplace, made a profit of 750 thousand dollars.

Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAIC) and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) is presumed to be in NFT collections. Taking advantage of this situation, the user was able to buy the products at the old list prices and then sell them at the current market prices.

A user named jpegdegenlove is thought to have exploited this bug. According to the wallet address, it is stated that he made a profit of 332 Ether (ETH).

When a Twitter user will cancel after putting his collection up for auction on OpenSea substantial sums of money requested and your collection base price fell explained. Users stated that they found a way to circumvent this and instead of canceling the auction, they transferred their NFT to a wallet that was automatically removed by OpenSea.

Users can check if their product has been uninstalled on Rarible, another NFT marketplace that uses OpenSea’s API.
