A Study to Contribute to Artificial Intelligence Training from Meta

Meta has officially launched Casual Conversations V2, a new database to be used in training AI models. Thanks to this data bank, many individuals that were not recognized correctly by artificial intelligence models will be perceived more successfully.

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence systems have started to be used in all areas of our lives. In addition to artificial intelligence models such as ChatGPT and DALL-E Snapchat and artificial on TikTok intelligence-assisted filters and facial recognition systems quickly became popular.

However, at present, artificial intelligence has difficulties in recognizing and perceiving individuals of different gender, race, physical appearance and disabilities. Meta, on the other hand, organized a new research to find a permanent solution to this problem.

More than 26,000 videos have been recorded to be used in training artificial intelligence systems

In addition to voice AI systems like Siri and Google Assistant, chatbots will be launched in 2021 for systems using facial recognition and visual AI models. Casual Conversations Meta, which created a database called (CC), contributed to the development of many artificial intelligence models. With the second generation CC database that the company prepared in the past months, these systems aims to be able to perceive much more individuals.

Recorded by 5,000 exhibitors from 7 countries Consisting of more than 26,000 videos In this database, there are videos of individuals with different appearances and physical or mental disabilities.

According to Meta, artificial intelligence systems trained with second-generation CC, freckled people, lisp peoplewill be able to identify individuals with physical or mental disabilities and all “out of the ordinary” individuals.

In addition, Anya Taylor-Joy and Colin Firth took samples from individuals who resembled celebrities in appearance or voice. It is also desired to ensure that artificial intelligence can distinguish between celebrities and “individuals who look like celebrities”.
