Dusseldorf On Wednesday, the Dax continued to rise. In the morning, the leading index was up 0.5 percent at 15,213 points. “The market seems to be waiting for the next impulse,” said Commerzbank analyst Antje Praefcke.
On Tuesday, the Dax had given back its initially significant gains and closed 0.1 percent up at 15,142 points.
Real estate values in particular were under pressure on Tuesday. TAG Immobilien, LEG Immobilien, Vonovia and Aroundtown lost between 4.4 and 12.6 percent. Real estate stocks continued to fall on Wednesday.
The commercial real estate specialist Aroundtown is cutting its dividend due to the difficult economic situation. The papers lose 6.1 percent. The shares of TAG Immobilien are 0.4 percent lower, LEG Immobilien 0.8 percent weaker. Vonovia shares are down 0.8 percent.
Meanwhile, bank shares are on the up again: after their price losses from the previous day, Deutsche Bank shares are up 1.9 percent, Commerzbank shares are up 0.9 percent.
