OkCoinJapan, the Japanese arm of OK Group, the owner of OKX, one of the world’s leading crypto exchanges, signaled that it would list the Shiba Inu (SHIB) in December. At the time, the exchange responded to a petition to list SHIB, thanking the meme coin community for their “valuable insights.”
Later, the exchange announced that it would list SHIB in February of this year without revealing the actual date. After months, the meme coin is finally listed on OkcoinJapan.
We can say that the meme coin community has put a lot of effort into this listing. Not just OkcoinJapan, the SHIB community expects the asset to be listed on all major Japanese exchanges. The community’s hopes are finally coming true, starting with the OKCoin Japan listing.
In a blog post, OKCoinJapan stated that it will begin trading “SHIB” on February 28. As a result, the number of crypto assets managed by OKCoinJapan is currently 23.
