Frankfurt Losses in the technology sector hit Wall Street. Above all, worries about the production of the US electric car manufacturer Tesla in Shanghai balanced the enthusiasm after the most recent quarantine easing in China.
The index of the technology exchange Nasdaq lost 1.1 percent to 10,387 places. The Dow Jones index of standard values, on the other hand, gained 0.3 percent to 33,305 points. The broader S&P 500 fell 0.2 percent to 3,837 points.
At the Tesla plant in Shanghai, the assembly lines are expected to stand still for the most part in December and January. Tesla did not give a reason for this. At the end of 2021 and 2022, the electric car manufacturer did not take any lengthy breaks in production.
