Dusseldorf, Berlin The head of Ukraine’s military intelligence service is raising hopes that the large-scale airstrikes will soon come to an end: Russia’s stockpiles of precision missiles were running out, Kyrylo Budanov said on state television this week. The arsenal is only sufficient for a few large air raids. But in times of perseverance slogans and war propaganda, caution is called for.
Experts doubt that Putin will soon run out of cruise missiles. It is true that Russia has already fired many of these missiles, which steer themselves to the target, in the unexpectedly long war.
