Since July 1, citizens and companies have been called upon to submit a property tax return within four months; the deadline ends on October 31. But so far, according to information from the finance ministries, only a quarter to a third of landowners have submitted their tax returns. Lindner therefore now wants to extend the deadline by a “foreseeable period of time”.
