New York-based asset manager Wisdom tree has launched nine new cryptocurrency and blockchain-linked fund launched.
According to the statement from the company, these nine funds are valid with the US SEC and will be released before the WisdomTrees digital wallet, which is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2023.

With these nine funds, the total number of digital funds of WisdomTree has reached 10. The firm’s first digital fund, the WisdomTree Short-Term Treasury Digital Fund, was approved by regulators in September of this year.
WisdomTree Head of Digital Assets Will Peck made the following statements on the subject in a statement on behalf of the company:
“We believe that blockchain-backed finance has the potential to improve the investor experience through the enhanced liquidity, transparency and standardization we seek to achieve over time, and these nine digital funds lay the foundation for bridging the gap between traditional finance and digital finance today.”
WisdomTree, one in 2022 and 2021 bitcoin had tried to list the spot ETF. The SEC rejected both proposals, citing insufficient parameters to prevent fraud and market manipulation.
Despite meeting forecasts in the third quarter of 2022, the firm’s crypto assets fell 56% to $178 million in October from $406 million at the start of the year.
