4 Ethereum Rival Altcoins Will Have Explosive Performances This Cycle: Raoul Pal

Raoul Pal, former Goldman Sasch executive, Cardano (ADA), Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), and Terra (LUNA) He says it will show a super explosive price performance in this bull cycle, but there is a problem.

In a new Real Vision interview with Ash Bennington, Pal said that it is highly possible that Ethereum will experience a long bull cycle that will last until June 2022, potentially pushing ETH as high as $40,000.

Pal believes that if Ethereum (ETH) experiences parabolic growth, other leading tier-1 crypto assets could experience even more explosive growth.

“I think it will almost certainly continue into March, possibly into the summer, which will present us with higher prices and a different cycle structure than we’ve seen before. I could be wrong.

I’m not betting on all my savings. But I think it will turn out this way. If I’m right about network adoption, then other tier-1s like Solana, Terra, Avalanche, Cardano etc will be super explosive.”

Pal says the only problem with getting past the bull run with these altcoins is that they can be much riskier options than Ethereum.

“But on a risk-reward basis, they’re riskier. They do not have as wide a network as Ethereum. For me, Ethereum remains the best bet in the world from a risk-adjusted perspective.”

The former Goldman Sachs executive says that the current crypto bull market could end when Ethereum starts threatening Bitcoin’s market value. Ethereum currently has a market cap of $547 billion and Bitcoin currently has a market cap of $1.17 trillion.

“My guess is that Bitcoin is getting pretty close to its market cap. So I think it will probably double in relative valuation relative to Bitcoin at some point eventually. I don’t think the market expects this. But maybe this short period will be the end of the cycle…”
