German vehicle manufacturer Volkswagen added a new one to its electric minivans. According to the new announcements, VW introduced a new performance microbus in addition to the ID microbus series. Introduced as Volkswagen ID Buzz GTX, this minivan is also defined as a performance family vehicle.

Volkswagen ID Buzz GTX accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds
Last week, the German vehicle giant also introduced the VW ID.7 Tourer GTX and ID.3 GTX models. Now, the company has introduced the Buzz GTX model, which is a more powerful vehicle for families. This vehicle, which has 282 horsepower at the rear wheels and 108 horsepower at the front, has a total power of 335 horsepower. Thanks to this power, the retro-looking microbus can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and has a 160 km/h limiter.
Introduced by Volkswagen with two options, this minivan comes with a standard version with a 79 kWh battery and a longer axle version with an 86 kWh battery. While the same engine is used in both models, the standard model of the electric microbus offers a towing capacity of up to 1,800 kilograms. If you choose the long axle version, the towing capacity is stated as 1,600 kilograms.

Additionally, the standard model is offered with five or six seat options, while the long version has seven seats.
