Range Rover, which has a special place for all car enthusiasts with its luxury SUV models, has renewed the sporty SUV model Velar. Velar, which was introduced at the event and launched as the 2024 model, did not see significant changes in its exterior design, but it came up with remarkable innovations in the interior.
We see that the 2024 model Range Rover Velar has switched to a new generation headlight design. This update brings daytime LEDs to the sporty SUV. There are also minor touches on the grille and rear bumper. Other design details of the vehicle are exactly the same as the current Velar.
Introducing the 2024 Range Rover Velar
When we move to the interior of the vehicle, we encounter the curved infotainment screen placed in the middle and adding a different air to the vehicle. This 11.4-inch touchscreen display allows the driver to see the screen more clearly with its curved structure. Let’s not forget that the 2024 Range Rover Velar has a full digital instrument display. On the center console, we encounter a small gear knob, the size of a door handle, that fits perfectly in the palm of the hand.
Details in interior design are not limited to this. Range Rover Velar now has the latest version of its infotainment software called Pivi Pro. In addition, wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay support was introduced. The storage compartment in front of the gear knob offers wireless charging for phones.
When we look under the hood, we can’t see any changes. The 2024 Velar, which can be purchased with two versions called P250 and P400, has a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with 247 horsepower and 364 Nm torque in the P250 version. The P400, on the other hand, comes with a 3.0-liter hybrid system that delivers 395 horsepower and is powered by a 48 V electric motor.
According to the statement, 2024 Range Rover Velar will be available for purchase with prices starting from $62,775. The company has already started pre-orders for the brand new SUV.
