‘Gamescom’, the world’s largest digital game fair, opened its doors in Cologne, Germany. Under the leadership of YTU Yıldız Technopark, important companies and institutions from Turkey also participated in the fair where giant companies in the field of digital games took place.

‘Gamescom’, which has been held for 13 years and is considered the world’s largest digital game fair in its field, opened its doors to gamers with the participation of many international game companies. To the fair where 21 game companies from Turkey took part; 1,100 companies from 53 countries participated.
The fair, where the latest developments in the field of gaming are announced, and industry-related conferences and events are held, draws attention with its dynamic structure. Under the leadership of YTU Yıldız Technopark, the representatives of Turkey’s leading institutions and companies participated in the fair; YTU Yıldız Teknopark General Manager Orhan Tanışman and Deputy General Manager İsa Turgut İnci attended.

Turkey is an important player in the game industry in the world and it is gradually increasing its potential. What would you recommend to the young people who will be directed to the playground in this regard?
My advice is to follow YTU Startup House community programs closely and participate. GamesUp is one of these programs. They get the chance to get to know the opportunities for a qualified job resource and a pleasant future.
In this sense, the work we do is very important as we open our doors to entrepreneurs who turn ideas into products. With GamesUP, we more than meet the needs of entrepreneurs. We care about globalization and in this direction, we will continue to bring together our entrepreneurs and the companies we support in such comprehensive organizations and we will bring more successful game companies and unicorns in Turkey to the world stage.
What opportunities does YTU Yıldız Technopark provide to entrepreneurs?
