New university departments related to artificial intelligence
The Council of Higher Education held a meeting on “Artificial Intelligence, Digitalization and Big Data” at Yıldız Technical University Otağ-ı Hümayun under the chairmanship of Erol Özvar. Speaking at this meeting, Özvar stated that there is a need to open undergraduate and associate degree programs to train people in artificial intelligence, digitalization and big data, and announced new departments.
Özvar announced 5 undergraduate and 12 associate degree programs. Moreover, he stated that this is just the beginning and the number of episodes will be increased in the coming days. Another important detail is that the courses will be online and synchronous.
