The U.S. Space Administration has named the X-66 jet aircraft it will rebuild with a radical new type of wing support to develop technology that reduces CO2 emissions. Unlike other aircraft, the X-66 will have lighter wings. Of course, the lightening of the wings means that they are bent under certain conditions, and there will be a support under the wings to prevent this.

An old MD-90 was taken for the idea stage. NASA is considering shortening the fuselage of this aircraft and thinning its wings. The interesting thing is that despite the thinning of the aircraft wings, the engines will continue to be located on the wings. NASA will place a support under the wings to provide strength to the wings in this regard.

The project is actually in the idea testing stages right now. We can say that the necessary measurements and calculations are being made. As a result of the success of the project, we can see similar designs in many new aircraft to be produced.
