Redmi A2 technical specifications
Both models are powered by the Helio G36 processor produced by MediaTek. Produced with 12nm technology, the processor has 8 2.2GHz ARM Cortex-A53 cores. The graphics interface of the processor is the IMG PowerVR GE8320.
Xiaomi has announced that they have a 6.52-inch HD Plus display in both the A2 and A2 Plus models. The new models that come with the drop notch camera have a resolution of 720×1600.

The company will offer the Redmi A2 and A2 Plus models in two different options, 2 GB + 32 GB and 3 GB + 32 GB. Redmi A2 series has LPDDR4X on the RAM side and eMMC 5.1 on the storage side. It is worth noting that the devices have a microSD card slot.
Devices with dual camera arrays have an 8 Megapixel main camera and a wide-angle camera. The selfie camera has a 5 Megapixel lens.
Both models will come out of the box with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It is worth noting that the charging ports on the devices are MicroUSB.
Unlike the standard model, Redmi A2 Plus has a fingerprint reader feature. Xiaomi has announced that the devices will be available to users with Android 12 GO edition.
