Elon Musk adds video support for X, which has been awaited for a while. It was stated that video chat will be possible for Spaces voice chat rooms. Now users will be able to talk by turning on their cameras whenever they want.

X Spaces will offer video support

Elon Musk announced that he plans to bring a video feature to Twitter’s voice chat feature, Spaces. Some users shared that they were able to access this feature. It will now be possible to turn on a camera and talk via video in X Spaces rooms.

Speaking at a Spaces session last month, Musk said that the company was working to add video functionality to this feature. It was stated that the conversations will be more interactive thanks to the video-supported Spaces rooms. Musk said seeing the body language and facial expressions of other participants is important in chat rooms.

Elon Musk is finally making X (Twitter) passwordless

X, formerly known as Twitter, is introducing the passkey entry feature. This will eliminate the need for a password when entering the application.

Users will be able to turn their cameras on and off whenever they want. When there is more than one speaker, it will switch according to the speaking user, similar to Google Meet. Video will allow for greater interaction between users and listeners without the need for another platform.

For those who don’t know, X; It first launched Spaces in 2021 as a rival to audio room service Clubhouse. Although Clubhouse is forgotten today, it is possible to say that Spaces has its own user base.

On the other hand, in recent months, X has made the passkey feature available in its iOS application. This means you can log in to the app with biometric verification instead of using your account password.
