World famous car manufacturer Chery is now in Turkey!

Despite all the setbacks, the automobile industry continues to grow, despite the difficulties in the supply chain. The sector, which broke records almost all over the world, contains growth opportunities for many brands, large and small. Finally, Chery, one of the brands in question, has officially stepped into the Turkish market. Here are the details…

World-famous automobile giant Chery is now in Turkey!

Chery, one of the world’s largest automotive brands, made a strong and assertive entry into the Turkish market. Turkey Vice President of the company, Ahu Turan, underlined that we will see TIGGO 8 PRO, TIGGO 7 PRO and OMODA 5 models with 1.6 liter gasoline engine and 7-speed automatic transmission at the first stage.

According to the statement, Chery’s plan to start operations in Turkey is not a new decision. Company executives announced that they have decided to come to the Turkish market with their own investment, as a result of market research, analysis of customer expectations and the feasibility of many different alternatives for the last four years.

An era ends at Audi! Official statement has arrived

Audi plans to phase out the production of models with internal combustion engines by 2033.

Chery, whose name is especially heard by automobile enthusiasts, has a sales and service network spread over 80 countries. The company has been the export champion of China for 19 consecutive years. Completing its restructuring for the Turkish market quickly, Chery continues its efforts to expand its wide sales and after-sales network.

Chery’s 3 new SUVs are on the road in spring!

The first models of the company will arrive in Turkey in the spring. Chery OMODA 5, TIGGO 7 PRO and flagship TIGGO 8 PRO will be the first cars to go on sale. According to the statement, as of 2024, hybrid and electric versions will take their place in the market. The main concern by consumers is what the price of the vehicles will be.

For example, Cherry Omada 5 is sold abroad between 14 thousand dollars and 19 thousand dollars. However, when taxes in our country are added to this price, a price of 500-600 thousand TL emerges. Still, it’s possible for Chery to gain a competitive advantage over established competitors by pricing locally.

The fact that Chinese car brands have very suitable models is another issue that excites citizens. Especially if cheap electric cars start to come to our country, EV sales may see a serious increase. This situation seems like an opportunity for people who cannot buy a vehicle due to the increased tax and exchange rate burden. However, it is too early to say for sure.
