With This Altcoin, Warner Group Announces New Collaboration!

Polygon (MATIC) altcoin network and Warner Music Group (WMG) have teamed up with the e-commerce platform LGND.io to launch a perennial web3 music program that will allow users to play digital records over the internet.

New Initiative Will Cover All Networks, Not Just Polygon Altcoin Network

The platform, called LGND Music, will support digital collections from all blockchains, although its main partner is Polygon. According to the company statement, this partnership includes a collaboration with Dutch electronic music record label Spinnin’ Records.

Following its launch in January, the platform will sell its own digital collections, which will give customers access to exclusive content and experiences from their favorite artists.

“We have been working for over a year to bring a best-in-class blockchain experience to passionate music lovers around the world, and we look forward to innovative and unique content from WMG artists of all types,” said Michael Rockwell, CEO of LGND Music.

The new collaboration represents Warner Music Group’s final step into web3 following an agreement with marketplace giant OpenSea. The collaboration was formed to lead NFT sales for their artists. WMG has also taken action in recent months to create metaverse partnership teams.

Oana Ruxandra, WMG’s digital business manager and vice president of business development, said:
