Elon Musk has only been the official owner of Twitter for a few days and he is already drastically redesigning the short message service. First he dismissed several top managers, then he dissolved the board of directors. This is a mixture of Management Board and Supervisory Board and makes, for example, fundamental decisions about the direction of the company. Musk is now the “sole director” of Twitter, according to a statement to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Shortly after the takeover, the billionaire had already announced various changes. This is how blocked accounts should be unlocked again. He also wants to create a new body to deal with controversial content. There should also be no more lifelong bans, which Donald Trump has, for example.

With the Twitter deal, Musk’s fortune, reach and influence continue to grow. Maybe too far? We are interested in your opinion: Will Elon Musk become too influential with the takeover of Twitter? Is the deal even a threat to democracy, as some US politicians say? How will Twitter change now – for better or for worse?
