Why Has Shiba Inu (SHIB) Burn Rate Dropped?

The Shiba Inu witnessed a significant decrease in burn rate last week. A recent report by Shibburn.com to the report According to the report, the Shiba Inu community managed to destroy a total of 22,184,222 SHIBs in 14 transactions last week.

The total amount burned in the last 24 hours was 1,562,938 SHIB burned in just two transactions. Remarkably, the number of transactions carrying meme coins to be burned has decreased.

The weekly amount burned is significantly less than the previous week. A total of 70,335,285 meme coins have been removed from circulation in 23 transactions in the last two weeks.

One reason for the reduction in SHIB burn may be the community’s focus on other positive core supports such as Shibarium. The Shibarium beta network “Puppynet” continues to attract more attention, as evidenced by the number of interacting wallets and the number of transactions. According to Puppyscan data, the number of wallets in the Shibarium testnet belonging to the Shiba Inu (SHIB) network has exceeded 14 million.

However, although it has been a bad week for burning, it has been a remarkable week for tokens belonging to the Shiba Inu ecosystem. BONE has been backed by six exchanges this week, including major exchanges OKX and Huobi Global.

The SHIB ecosystem also gained more visibility and development. Shiba Inu adviser Marcie Jastrow expressed her excitement about the Shiba Inu’s presence at the Consensus 2023 conference. The meme coin community also reacted enthusiastically to the news that the SHIB team has developed a cold wallet for Shiba Inu and plans to partner with the two biggest names in the cryptocurrency business.
